| I will have to smog my car in feb, and should have my swap complete in december. When finished with my build what would my chances be of passing smog. I am planning to run cutouts right after the downpipes in my exhaust system, but I need to decide if I am going to run straight test pipes or have a set of cats welded in. My build car=1994 slicktop motor 91 tt motor weisco pistons stock heads stock turbo manifolds gt28r turbos sz 3" split downpipes nismo 740cc injectors dual pop a few other things but they have no relation to smog. I am keeping the egr, and pcv, but removed the carbon canister. the exhaust will be finished with whatever midpipes I decide on and 2.5 inch stillen catback with and x pipe. What would my chances be of passing smog? Should I get a set of cats installed since I will have the cutouts anyway, or will I almost certainly not pass and say screw cats?
